Mile Express Transport provides dedicated transportation and specialized handling support for cryogenic shipments transported in liquid nitrogen (LN₂) dry shippers, including LN₂ dewars, DV10s, MVE dry shippers, and other validated cryogenic shipping systems.
Cryogenic shipments can contain highly sensitive and irreplaceable materials, including Cell & Gene Therapy products, clinical trial materials, biologics, patient-specific therapies, and other critical healthcare products. Our team follows strict handling, documentation, and chain-of-custody procedures designed to protect shipment integrity from pickup through final delivery.
Whenever possible, dry shippers remain sealed and undisturbed throughout transportation. Mile Express can obtain Bluetooth temperature and equipment readings from compatible LN₂ dry shippers, allowing shipment conditions to be monitored without opening the shipping system, cutting security seals, or unnecessarily breaking chain of custody.
Mile Express does not replenish or recharge dry shippers with liquid nitrogen.
If a dry shipper can no longer maintain the required conditions, Mile Express can coordinate the handling and, when instructed by the customer, transfer the product into a new, properly conditioned dry shipper. Any transfer requiring the shipment to be opened or a security seal to be broken is performed only after customer authorization and appropriate chain-of-custody documentation.
For critical cryogenic shipments, our priority is to avoid unnecessary opening or manipulation of the shipping system. When compatible technology is available, Bluetooth readings allow our team to obtain shipment information while maintaining the physical seal and chain of custody. When intervention is necessary, every step is communicated, authorized, and documented before proceeding.
